Well, Ogre Battle is in Japanese only, but it plays just like the original SNES classic by far. Same premise and everything. So i was blindly moving around and hoping to get into a solid fight :lol

How does that play? Put in the perspective that a reader hasn't played the original Ogre Battle. :)

Pretty much like a game of chess. You go to each castle, liberate the people from their oppression. Gain new armies and try to take out the enemy with a well thought out army. It's turn-based combat, but uses tarot cards and your date of birth to determine your outcome beforehand. Which is actually determining your strength and weaknesses for your main character and how your army will perform for you.

You'll notice this tarot card method later adapted into the Zodiac method in Tactics Ogre. Instead of having your palm read, it used real life Zodiac premises. Final Fantasy Tactics borrows the same element, because the same gentlemen who wrote the script for Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen and Tactics Ogre. Wrote the script for Square-Enix's Final Fantasy Tactics on PS1.
