Wow, nice collection Rocky. I have a genesis/sega cd as well and like it a lot. Hopefully some day I will have a resonable collection to show off ;-)

that is a nice collection.

I have about 9 AES games. The good ones tend to be a bit expensive... hard to get a lot of them.

Thanks. I'm done buying AES games for awhile. That Strikers 1945 Plus is the most recent one I've bought. You're right, its way too expensive and purchasing these games is very irresponsible admittedly.

Only thing I have on my Neo palette for the near future is to get my system upgraded with Component video.

I was looking for a component video encoder chip but could not find one yet. I looked on Analog Devices's web site and could only find a RGB -> S-Video encoder. All their other chips I saw were YCbCr -> YPbPr .  Do you guys know any sites that sell a RGB to component chip?

PS. That s-video chip is only $6 :)

OK, here it goes (AES Mint list):

JPN: All
U.S.: All
Euro: All
Korean: All
Carton Box: All
Dog Tag: All
Classic: All
NGF: KOF 2000 U.S.

AES Library: Custom mahogany shelves (14' high x 12' wide)

ps: I've owned my Gold System since 1992.
Favorite Series: Metal Slug
Favorite set-up: My Custom Portable Joystick Console.
Total AES games: I stopped counting at 250.

Nice collection!
So.. you own everything? Even Kizuna and Ultimate 11 Euro carts?

How did you run across that Monolith logo game? You know... I forget the title of that game :-\

Welcome to the boards! we are glad to have you here :) AND we hope to see you around!

Thanks for the welcome to the boards!!

Yes, I have all the AES games that were made for the Neo Geo.
I even have the newest homebrew title "Last Hope", that was produced in Germany.

I designed and built this cool cabinet that will hold over 300 AES games.
It's 4 w x 2.5 d x 4 h.  (There are 4 shelves, each shelf holds 75 games [25 games across, and 3 deep]).
The top shelf holds my MVS-Only games (in Shock Boxes with printed inserts).
In the picture, you can see a Neo Geo AES, PS2, Atomiswave, Hyper 64, and a MVS 6-slot.
Here's a better picture of the Joystick Stand!
and the Top Opens Up to reveal the Audio-Video Box with pull-out drawers!!

It was really hard to find the Rare games...
Most of the Rare games came direct from Europe.
(Euro versions). Shipping was really expensive from Europe to the US!!

The Really Rare Monolith Logo game came from Italy.
Someone didn't know what they had, and sold it on eBay.

When I received the game, I realized what it was  and completely flipped out!!
Something like going to a garage sale, and finding Metal Slug U.S. in a box.

I also own a BIG 40+ SNK poster collection, including some really Rare original SNK's.)
I bought these Rare original SNK posters direct from SNK back in 1992,
when they were based in Torrance, California.

When SNK started making games for the Atomiswave,
I still wanted to play their games!! So, I bought an AW and their games.
Fist of the North Star is one of the Best games to date on the AW!!

Thanks!!

That's an incredible collection you have! But the coolest part in my opinion is your custom cabinet and game setup. Anyone with money can buy lots of games but you went the extra mile ;-) . As for fist of the north star, what's it like? Remember the genesis game :lol?

Thanks for the custom cabinet compliments!!

The top joysticks are wired to all the systems!! (Neo Geo AES, Atomiswave, Hyper 64, MVS 6-slot).
I made a custom DB-15 cable that connects all the systems to the joysticks at the same time.
When you press the audio-video buttons, the system and joysticks connect simultaneously.
(I also have the joysticks hard-wired to a PS2 cable, and a future spot for the PS3.)

For the Atomiswave, Fist of the North Star is the BEST!!
It was produced in a limited run, and it's really hard to get!!
There's one on eBay UK right now for $800.
(But it doesn't come with the art and instruction booklet).

I never played the Sega Genesis game...
But FOTNS for AW is really fun!!
It's fast-paced and the movements/fighting are really smooth,
and its easy to perform combos. Just watch out when your opponent
completely powers up!!  He can kill you in one hit!!

ps: you gotta see my custom AW install in my car.
Close-up includes AW mobo, SuperGun, and Power supply.
AW Video InstallNeo Install. You would never know!!

Great stuff. How do you play it in the car? Gamepads? Looks really stealth, what kind of car is that?

It's a 2005 VW Touareg.
I have DB-15 10' extension joystick cables that run to the back seat.
The controllers are the old style Neo Geo Joysticks.

It has 14 speakers with Dolby DTS Surround Sound!!

The front video retractable touchscreen is a Pioneer AVIC-N1.
(voice controlled: GPS Nav, DVD Movie Player, CD, and awesome radio!!)

I'll respond more later... but I really like that cabinet you made.... how and where did you do that?

Nice job on the car too ... you put the system in the area where the jack is in case you get a flat? :lol

Yeahh!!  The Atomiswave system goes where the jack used to be!!
If my tire goes flat, I call AAA plus auto service...
while I'm waiting for an hour+, I can play my Atomiswave system in the car!!
Dolby Digital Surround DTS, on 14 speakers!!

Neogeo AES Modded with S-video and Stereo
Two Old Style Joysticks
1 Memory Card
Samurai Shodown 2
Magician Lord

I can understand that... I have to be done buying Neo for awhile... expensive :)
Although coming down in price... the only games I wish right now seem to have a higher price tag...
