Neo Geo CD ngcd vs genesis

Apart from cdrom loadtimes, they are the same as the MVS/AES arcade carts. Some have a few frames of animation cut due to the cd format. Many have remastered cd music which is better than the original ;-)

well,i placed my neo geo side by side with genesis.the neo was running samurai shodown 2,the genesis was running street fighter 2.....i assume you can guess the winner by knock out,dim mak,and/or decapitation.the neo wins by leaps and bounds  :)

Just don't place it next to the X68000! That'd be a close one. :)

ok.... that's what I thought it was... wasn't the Neo Geo based off the 68000? You have to know that kind of programming to make Neo Geo games.

Yes, you are correct. The X68000 has a 10mhz Motorola 68K. The Neo Geo has a 12mhz Motorola 68K (or Clone) The 24bit thing is a total joke considering the seccond processor is a 4mhz Z80 :lol

what was the point of this thread? comparing two different games on two different systems? I could see comparing King of the Monsters or Fatal Fury on both systems.
Hay guys! I just put Ridge Racer on PSX and Tokyo Xtreme Racer on Dreamcast, and guess what? TXR totally looks better!!1!!

I have a penchant for old computers, especially ones that I have not tried. Its also japanese, and it has almost replica graphics of the Neo. Check out Castlevania on the system when you get the chance.
