Ever heard of the Sega Mega Jet before? Neither had I until this evening. Apparently it was a plug and play device that JAL rented to its customers that plugged into the seatback monitors, and was the precursor to the Nomad.

There's a brief Wikipedia entry about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sega_Mega_Jet

Sega Mega Jet was only used on Japanese Airlines for long trips, however some people could purchase this normally at the airport or shops that were close by. So yeah, it's pretty much the "Beta" version of what we later in America got as the "Nomad"

Recently discovered this in a book (game.machines, good book!) definetly seems hard to find. I wonder if what retrogamer wrote is true or not. Either way can't be many out there
