September 29 marks the point that this was released in the US. It is hard to believe that this system is that old. And yet there are a lot of games on this system that could stand toe to toe, fun wise, to many modern games. I've had mine out for the last two weeks going through my library replaying old favorites. Retro gamers have all the fun.

I love the cartridges also and totally agree. If they put out a console that was cart based tomorrow, I'd be all over it. I miss those fat chunky pieces of plastic. :'(
