I just got a Saturn yesterday, so my game collection for it is REALLY small.

Area 51
Nights Into Dreams

I'm still looking for Magic Knights Rayearth. If you happen to get it in again, Blue, let me know. ;) I really like guncon games so I might pick up the Virtua Cop games from the Game Addict site.

Also, I heard that there's a Saturn controller with an analog stick that makes playing Nights a little easier. They didn't have one at the place I got my Saturn and I checked the Game Addict site but I didn't see it. So let me know if you actually do have that controller so I can get it. :D Or just let me know if you happen to get one in.

I want one of these again, my old one broke :'(

Last I remember I had the following:

P.T.O II (Pacific Theater of Operations, WW II Pacific Navy game, pretty good if you're a startegy fan)
NiGHTS
Heir of Zendor (me and my brother loved this one)
Sim City 2000? (unsure)

I think I had 1 or 2 more

Nice collection Ackula :D :D

But where are the saturn fans....I know you're out there...so don't be strangers...post, post, post.

Personally I love the saturn (400+ games).

So let's get some saturn discussions going!?!

What's the best shooter? My favourite is Battle Garegga..I could play it for days on end (and have done so) Radiant Silvergun is also top class!

What's the best fighter? For me SFZ 3...brilliant..with MS vs SF on its coat-tails.

BV, are you ever going to get Magic Knights Rayearth for the Saturn again? I really want it.

I'm so kicking myself for not getting it when you had it. :-[

Thanks.

Astra Super Stars is very intriguing concept.. it's what Psychic Force should have been. Personally I've had no issues pulling off any of the moves in the game and have been able to innitiate some rather devastating combos as a result.

I would like to add Shinrei Jusatsu Taromaru to my collection at some point.. but there are other games that I have put at a higher priority than this ~$250 game. I'm not huge on 3D Shooting/Sim games, so I'm not really interested in Stellar Assault. Crows is an ok game, but I already have the 2 best beat-em-ups on the Saturn (Guardian Heroes and the D&D Collection). As for Mizubaku, I've always wanted to add the PC-Engine Hu-Card to my collection, even though the Saturn version is obviously better.

I need to get some more Saturn games, all I have is...

Virtua Fighter 2
Virtua Cop
Daytona 500
Street Fighter Collection
Street Fighter Alpha
NBA Jam TE
X-Men COTA
Fighting Vipers
Duke Nukem 3D

and my one import
Dracula X

Add taromaru..its great fun, a little bizarre, shinobi on acid.

Stellar Assault..fair play..more a game for collectors tbh..although it does look and play very well.

You don't have the 2 best beat em ups though..Tenchi Wu Kurau 2 is better than D&D I reckon, check it out if you haven't already.

Mizubaku..I actually prefer the pce version tbh. I shouldn't say that as a die hard saturn fan...but then I'ma die hard pce fan too. Its a lot cheaper on pce too..the ss version hardly ever crops up these days.

Chech out Bubble Symphony as well, great fun. Twinkle Star Sprites, The Wonder/Arcade gear packs, Hyperduel..I could go on and on and on!

Man, I REALLY want to play Heir of Zendor now. Curse you fragile RFU adaptors!

why don't you get A/V instead of RF?

I carry some A/V cables.... they are a lot nice :)

BV :hat

I saw a full review of Taroumaro in episode 6 of Retro Core. It does look much better in motion than in screen-shots.

I've looked into snagging Tenchi Wo Kurau 2.... it's a definite possibility.

And in regards to Twinkle Star Sprites, I already own both the Neo CD and DC versions. Yeah, I know the Saturn version has the extra character as well as the FMV intro and omake disc... but if I buy a third version of the game, it's going to be the MVS cart (for true competition).

Anyone know where I could pick up the Panzer dragoon Saga game?? I tried the Ebay thing and was shocked to see $150-200 price tags on a 15+ year old game.
My Saturn collection is a bit small for now. But I am lucky to have multiple second-hand stores in my town that typically stock older games.
My game list:
1. Sonic 3D Adventure
2. Pandemonium!
3. Ghen War
4. Panzer Dragoon
5. Panzer Dragoon 2: Zwei
6. Wipeout
7. Mortal Kombat II
8. Sega Rally Championship
9. NHL All-Star Hockey
10. NHL '97
11. NHL Power Play '96
12. NHL '98
13. Wing Arms
I'd love to add Panzer Dragoon Saga to my list...

Because the T.V. I'm forced to use for gaming is really old, it doesn't have any A/V input. Just a single slot in the back.

Anyway, that accursed little prong the cord snapped off, and I never played my Saturn after that... :'(
