The world's 2nd portable SUPER NINTENDO! Hyperkin's SUPABOY! :D

I'm really thinking about it. But I think I have to work on my SNES collection first. I have like five games.

Don't feel bad man, I'm starting to collect SNES once again. :)

By the way... that is a REALLY cool package. Normally companies that replicate systems or do what this company has done, but they don't have nice packaging.

This is actually nice and well designed...

AWESOME... and Drool :drool

I love the SupaBoy...it's SO bad... 8)

The SupaBoy has won awards for the best gadget of 2011. It feels like a big Super Nintendo controller when you play it. It loves Super Famicom games, but we're still working on which PAL games work with the device. So far Super Mario World works with flying colors. I know there's another clone at the moment that is ten dollars higher, but I feel it's badly made with terrible cartridge add-ons to allow NES and Genesis carts to be played.

The SupaBoy loves ALL SNES games. No problems I've ran into. It loves the games that have the most problems with other SNES clones such as Super Mario RPG, Star Fox, Stunt Race FX, Uniracers, Street Fighter Alpha 2.

The biggest downfall however of this masterpiece, is the speakers that the system is made with. They cannot handle the loud sound chip the Super Nintendo was known for. So you'll hear a low buzzing noise everytime with or without headphones. If the speakers were of better quality, I don't think we would have a problem. This device is not emulated software at all, it's pure 100% SNES hardware with brand new parts. It was based off of the SNES 2 hardware.

drooling more now... :lol I might try this.

BTW... I LOVE that you plugged in UN Squadron... once of my favorite SNES games... top 5 at the least.

How much?

$79.99 for this beastly device of retro goodness. Is it worth it? Oh you betcha. If you want more pics of what sweet games look like on the SupaBoy, let me know.

So I got one for Christmas from my awesome GF. Been playing Super Mario World so far. It's cool but does fall short in some places.

Like mentioned before, the speakers are not that great. The buzzing is there at certain volumes and on my unit, the stereo imaging is off. The left speaker is much lower than the right.

Another complaint I have, is the plastic. It feels quite cheap really. It does not feel as nice as a true SNES controller. It still works great and no hiccups as far as precision, but for a $79 device, it's decent. You get what you pay for.

The LCD is much better than I expected. Good colors, you don't notice any interlacing and no lag as far as I can tell.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who just wants to play SNES games and not really looking to be a collector.

Just thought I would post this in the official section of the forum. Just received this for Christmas from my awesome wife. She also gave me "Cosmo Gang the video" which is a Super Famicom game. And it plays nice on the Supaboy.

Very nice! I have to pick up more SNES games myself. I've been slacking but at the same time, I'm limited in space on where I can store them. One of the few drawbacks of Cartridge collecting.

I know what you mean about space. I already have a good library of SNES games. I keep them in a couple of small plastic tubs in the closet. Most are cart only. Any new games will be cart only, no boxes. Mostly a gamer here, not a collector.

I have an ottoman where I can toss controllers and cartridges. It is both storage and a foot rest!
