Timing errors
« on: December 10, 2004, 04:49:26 AM »
I'm definitely getting errors with the timer.

I've been timing this and it's been over two minutes - I'm still getting errors that my last post was less than 45 seconds ago.

say what?

you couldn't post?

If you get the 45 second thing...... don't try posting until then.  I am not 100% sure, but if you keep hitting post and you get the 45 second limit many times.... it might be cumulative.

But then again... I don't think it is.

So you couldn't post the whole day? ...

I think the timer starts all over when you press the post button.

I just noticed today that my time os off. Does the site automatically set everything one hour backwards to compensate for the ninnies that need daylight savings???  :D

:lol  I think so... or it goes by the server time, since the server is in Chicago (I believe), it goes on daylight savings..  You can set the offset in your profile :)
Sorry about that!

Heh. I'm a bit weird like that. Every clock in my house is times almost exactly the same. I set them by my wrist watch, which is set by the atomic clock that is hanging at my work.

But then again I sort my work shirts by color, I alphabetize my game collection as well as my movies. I mix my coffee and cream to match the color of my coffee mug... Man, I am weird.  :lol
