Sigma Star Saga - Namco GBA RPG
« on: January 25, 2005, 03:01:17 PM »
Namco announced today that it has signed a publishing deal with WayForward to bring its GBA exclusive action RPG Sigma Star Saga to retail in June 2005.
"Sigma Star Saga is an action-packed adventure that continues Namco's tradition of delivering the highest quality RPG experience, but now in the palm of your hand," said Jeff Lujan, the Handheld Business Unit Director at Namco Hometek Inc. "This game's great storyline, intense action, amazing sound and vibrant graphics all come together to create an original experience that's not to be missed."

An epic space battle RPG, Sigma Star Saga combines the exploration of an RPG with an action-packed shooter battle system, and best of all, a branching storyline with multiple endings.

Humanity is struggling to survive against the Krill onslaught. Sent in as a double agent, players must discover the mystery of six planets singled out in an intercepted message as important to the enemy's efforts, and help defeat the Krill from within before humanity's time runs out! By exploring the galaxy of Sigma Star Saga on foot, players can discover new parasitic Krill weaponry and gadgets in order to equip themselves and their spaceship. Additionally, you can collect up to 50 kinds of "Gun Data" and then combine them in simple combinations to customize and create their own unique weapon.

See? It's stuff like THIS which is why I bought the GBA. An original game by an established company.

There just needs to be about 90% more of it.

Ok, see now I really can tell that you don't bother to even check most posts.

I already made a topic about this. It's not even halfway down the page yet, and you managed to "miss" it, probably so you could start your own thread and throw in a dig about how there needs to be more original games on the GBA.

Seriously, how do you even enjoy gaming at all? It seems like all you do is complain about it.

I make a *positive* thread about how there's a game I'm actually interested and you accuse me of complaining?

Pathetic.

Actually, I'd like to know how me saying "An original game for GBA I'm interested in! Great! I'd like to see more!" is any different from

"Oh! Original RPGs for the GC like Baten Kaitos and TOS! Great! I'd like to see more!"

Oh, that's right. You can't answer that question because they AREN'T any different!!!!

Ok, yeah, I was a little out there with that.

I actually just wanted to know why you didn't just reply to an existing thread.

I guess it's kind of like the PS3 thread...I just assumed wrongly what you were saying. It's ok, misunderstandings happen. I apologize if I offended you.
