Well, it's aged now, and may not nessercarilly be the best FF. The reason it's my favourite is more personal because it was the first major RPG I ever played, and I have great memories with it.

It's still an awesome game if you like that kind of thing though, and you should definately buy it if you can find it cheap.

FF5 is one of the best in the series imo. And don't discount a game simply based on its age, some of the best games out there are much older than FF7.

The main reason many people like FF7 has alot to do with the fact that it was the first one to really get into the mainstream with its 3D graphics and Sci-Fi setting. Still a great game though.

I agree with those games. You know a game is great when you cant put it down.

Super Mario World and Super Mario 3 almost made it to my list...can't forget those two.

Thats ok, they didnt make my list either Close but no cigar
