George A. Romero's Land of the Dead on Xbox/PC
« on: April 04, 2010, 02:44:21 PM »
So I found out there was a PC demo of this George A Romero film based game that I've been dying to play for ages and needless to say, I have to find this game! It captures the elements of a Romero film to a tease, sure the game didn't age well. However the head shots and body damage to each zombie is pretty accurate I will say. The arsenal you are granted is nice! Moltovs, shotguns, sniper rifles, shovels, axes, baseball bats even!

The overall scores given for this game were deemed very poor, but I consider it a sweet little gem to any zombie film lover :)

I played the Xbox demo, from what I remember it was entirely mediocre.

The originally planned game, City of the Dead, looked very good though. Think Left 4 Dead, last gen.
