Can't change read-only
« on: August 30, 2010, 10:10:47 PM »
Ok, I'm running an administrator user account on Windows 7. I get the blue box when I go into the properties of a folder. All files within said folder are not set to read-only. I've tried using the ATTRIB command in command prompt, using properties itself, all with no luck. If someone know how to fick this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Also the folder path is C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft Trial\

It might be because you're using the trial?

I was going to be using a 10 day trial from a friend referral but, the launcher can't patch because it's read only.

Make a duplicate copy of the folder and see what happens?

Tried that but!

It must have been the launcher. Cause when I went to just boot WoW itself, it patched just fine. Really weird. Thanks for the suggestions anyway guys.
