Lv4 Weapons!
Most people will run around around for ages trying to find out how to unlock these, but the answer is really right there in front you the whole time! Here's how you do it.
NOTE: You need to be in Empire mode
Upgrade your equipment (for the weapons type of your choice) to at least Lv4. Then when you head into the next battle, all you do is have the Lv3 weapon equipped, and make 500 KO's in that battle alone. When the game ends in victory, you'll unlock that weapon for that officer! Note that there are 200 standard officers, and they only use 1 of 3 different weapons. So once you unlock one of them, they're available for every officer that uses it.
Now when you play another game in Empire mode, all you need is to have the minimum Lv4 Equipment for that weapon type, then play any battle with the Lv3 weapon equipped for that officer. Once you win (even if you didn't get any KO's) you'll get that weapon again. And if you upgrade your Equipment to Lv5, then all officers that have already had their weapon equipped previously, will be able to use it. Even without you needed to play as them again. You'll only need to do it so you can use the weapon.
Another easy trick to getting that 500 KO count, is to attack their main camp only. So long as you don't have an allied support line to their camp, you can't take it. And their troops will keep reappearing there.
Easy Victory
For whatever reason, you may find yourself in a situation where you have little to win a battle with. But defeat does not go to the side with the largest army, or even with the best tactics! A battle can be won by simply doing this: 1) When the battle starts, order all officers to defend. (You can be specific and personally tell which officer to defend which base). 2) You head out, bringing down any officers you perceive as a threat, and take the necessary bases to defend your main camp. just keep this defence up until your enemy has zero officers left. 3) When their reinforcement counter is zero, and there are no enemy officer left, order a full attack. The enemy are defeated at that point. With no officers, they have nothing to win with, and victory is yours.
This technique can be manipulated and perfected, where you tactically shift your troops from defending to attacking while theirs are fleeing, or waiting to return to the field. This technique is best used when defending your territory when you happen to start off with pretty much just your main camp.
Easy Officer power up
NOTE: You must have you Lv4 weapon equipped.
Because your LV4 weapons attributes are permanent, when you win a battle, rather than getting attributes to equip to the weapon, your officer can only obtain Gold and Upgrades. This is a great way to strengthen an officer.
1000 KO medal!
This is so simple to do, but may take a little patients.
Make sure that you accompany tactics for your officers strength, the game difficulty, and your general skill. It's usually best you have at least 1 Time Extension. You can use 2 of these, giving you 50 minutes to complete the battle.
When you beggin the battle, start off by maintaining a defence of your maincamp by taking down the enemy support lines, and bringing down any officer that pose a threat. Make sure you have your officers set to defend! Keep making your way to the enemy main camp, bringing down officers as you go. YOU MUST NOT HAVE AN ALLIED SUPPORT LINE TO THEIR CAMP! So long as the allied support line is not connected to their main camp, once you beggin attacking their camp, you can't take it. And their troops will continue to come back to defend. All you do is bring down everything that appears there until you get the required 1000 KO's. Once done, simply obtain victory to get the medal (it will appear on the officers stats).
When this done in Empire mode, it will take you to an cinematic where your officer is presented with the medal by your ruler (and the Commander and Strategist if you have them).
If your officer is real good, and you use 2 time extensions, then you should be able to get more than 3000 Ko's in one battle and still pull off victory!!!
Musou Rage for every 100 KO's
once you have your Lv4 weapon equipped, for every 100 KO's you make, you'll instantly get a Musou Rage. This greatly improves your chance of victory! Benefits of the Musou rage include: 1) Increased attack speed 2) Increased attack damage 3) Increased defence 4) True Musou regardless of Health 5) You'll glow a brillant orange, which makes your officer look really awesome!
The Musou rage will last around 6 seconds (NOTE: The timer stops when you're doing a Musou attack). When you have the Demon Headband quipped, it'll last around 10 seconds! |
