Easy weapon acheivments for Quake 4!
Most people will try their best to use only one weapon throughout an entire section of Quake 4 and find it gets very hard at points, especialy since you generally have to waste every opponent you come across. Try doing that with little shots in your Dark Mater gun!
There is an easy way to do this. When you finish going up the second tower, just when you go back down the elevator, you will be attacked by the Network Guardian. Now, you can't kill it right now, and it can't hurt you either due to the bullet proof glass. However, at some point it will smash the glass. This is your moment to attack! Time your weapon right and fire off a single shot from your chosen weapon! If it hits, then simply go for a walk back to the tram and you finish a level! You unlock an acheivement for using only one weapon!
NOTE: it is best that you also save a point before hand so you can return to that level and do it again with another weapon.
Obtain the "Use all weapons " Acheivement
This is possibly the hardest of them all. You have to cycle through all weapons, hit your target, then survive until the end of the level.
The level that follows after the one previously mentioned is where the Guaridan attacks you as you head down the elevator.
Simply toggle through each weapon when you run through and make each shot hit your prey. You can do this on any level you wish, so long as you have each weapon. It helps if you know there's plenty of targets through that level, so you can use each weapon, one at a time, and kill that target. Then, move to the next weapon and kill another target. Repeat the process until you destroy ONE target with EACH weapon. After that, feel free to use whatever weapon you wish.
NOTE: It may take some time to do this. Especially if you've chosen a level with some tougher opponents. Try getting this acheivment after beating the game at least once so you have a better veiw of where the enemy are. |
