comments: King of Fighters 97 is undoubtedly the best game in this classic series. Gameplay is insanely deep and the graphical detail is astounding. The new characters in the game are awesome (Shermie, Chris, and the Orochi boss). The Neo Geo CD version suffers from some excessive load times, but the game is so good that you'll quickly accustom yourself to it; especially that you'll be able to turn the demos off to cut load times considerably. There is also a cool little art gallery with some fantastic drawings and designs from SNK's artists. For non-cartridge owners, KOF 97 on the Neo Geo CD is an excellent buy.
