Neo Geo CD voltage/heat question...
« on: September 11, 2004, 01:24:02 PM »

I've been told by at least one person on this site that I should get an American Neo Geo CD unit, because the voltage difference on the Japanese one can cause it to get warmer.  Is this true, and if so does it really shorten the life-span of the unit?  Because if not, I'd really rather go with a Japanese unit, seeing as how are much lower in price.

I haven't had any trouble out of my Japanese system at all as far as heating up and such.
