Real Bout Fatal Fury Special / 1996 / SNK
Real Bout Special is a 1 on 1 fighter. It is a continuation of the Fatal Fury series, and is the 6th title in the series. It features 19 selectable characters, plus more via codes. The game also features 2 planes of movement that can be used to dodge attacks and counter. Characters are able to use DM’s and SDM’s as the power gauge fills during battle.
The arranged soundtrack really shines on this game, with many people calling it one of the best soundtracks on the Neo Geo CD system. The game also features one of the best extras, the Blue Mary video, which is only available on the CD version of the game.

AES / CD Differences
The Neo Geo CD has some additional features, whereas these are missing from the Neo Geo AES version of the game:
- There is an extra Versus mode in the Mode Select within the Options Menu: Original, Advanced, Versus.
- There is an Extra Ending Sequence (Blue Mary music video) available after completing the game
