Real Bout Special is a 1 on 1 fighter. It is a continuation of the Fatal Fury series, and is the 6th title in the series. It features 19 selectable characters, plus more via codes.

The game also features 2 planes of movement that can be used to dodge attacks and counter. Characters are able to use DM's and SDM's as the power gauge fills during battle.
